Background: Starbound is a game that made big bucks off preorders by literally promising the stars. Delays, broken promises, humblebrags about earning six figures, and possible tax fraud followed.

/vg/ is the 4chan board for general threads for specific games, and for a while now they've been bitching about how it's all a scam.

Meanwhile, several of the moderators of the Starbound forums are "goons", paid members of the Something Awful forums. These mods often ban users critical of the Starbound project from the Starbound forums for being "rude". But, of course, while they were doing this there was a secret subforum where goons were talking shit about pubbies with reckless abandon and no censure.

In the thread linked above, the secret goon subforum was leaked, the leak was discovered, and the subforum was wiped.
