One common argument on this website is that racism towards whites, or sexism towards men, or heterophobia only result in “hurt feelings”, and is therefore not racism/sexism/heterophobia/what have you, because other “actually opressed” groups face murder/rape/rape-murder/what have you.
Then in the same breath, people will scream at the top of their lungs about “microaggressions”, which, based on my observations, result in little more than hurt feelings and long-winded text posts on this blogging website.
So by that same logic, “microaggressions” are not racist/sexist/homophobic because they result in hurt feelings.
