I'll try to explain it to you then:

There are a lot of coastal cities that could end up underwater if the ocean rises a few feet which could displace almost a billion people.

It is Islamophobia if you think of or try to treat all Muslims like those in that photo. A little worrying about Islamic extremism is not a problem, it's when you take it too far that it is a problem.

Dams, flood walls, leveys, pulleys. Water eventually rising above cities is not a myth. It's factual. It bothers me that people think it's a hoax. Venice is already going to be submerged in water in the next 10-15 years.

I think my only issue with this sub is the belief in some that global warming doesn't exist. You're almost as crazy as a holocaust denier if you really don't buy it at this point. The evidence is astounding.

Someone look up John Oliver's clip on it where he brings in 100 scientists.

As far as the picture goes, this epitomizes the liberal argument. They don't want to understand the conflict at a deeper level and they don't want to admit that civilians are actually playing a role here (whether it's aiding Hamas, or dying from direct/intentional negligence of Hamas). As an Israeli supporter, there's a line when I flat out don't care about the casualties. We told you we were coming, your government told you not to head the warnings, and you elected a people who's sole mission is to eradicate all Jews.

I won't even apologize for this anymore. I'm glad Israel has finally taken action.

Global atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide have increased markedly as a result of human activities since 1750 and now far exceed pre-industrial values determined from ice cores spanning many thousands of years. The global increases in carbon dioxide concentration are due primarily to fossil fuel use and land-use change, while those of methane and nitrous oxide are primarily due to agriculture.

This is an excerpt from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) summary made in 2007
