its all about who will vote Democrat

Mexicans. Extremely religious, very family oriented, very hard working. Why does the GOP have problems attracting the mexican voter base? I never understood it.

Wasn't mittens' position essentially deport them all while democrats want a pathway to citizenship? Gov. Perry even got booed at a debate for suggesting some sort of plan to help immigrant kids brought here through no fault of their own.

because the Democrat party tells them the GOP is racist and hates all non-whites and non-males.

I don't think it is that simple. The seemingly natural fit of mexicans being conservatives isn't being overcome by a few lies. I'm sure the "close the border" opinions and voter ID laws probably had more to do with it. "I was going to vote for the GOP but they stopped my third cousin Juan from coming across the border.", or more accurately, "Yo iba a votar por el Partido Republicano, pero dejé mi tercer primo Juan de venir a través de la frontera."

Because the picture you paint is misleading bullshit. Second generation Hispanic immigrants are almost as welfare-dependent as urban blacks, and have similar levels of illegitimacy. So much for family values.

Really? Because 66.4% of Latinos participate in the labor force while only 64.0% of whites do. Don't act like they aren't hard working.

^ That thinking might be why we have such a hard time attracting new Hispanic voters
