No actually it's a we legitimize this occupation and operation by funding Israel and giving arms/military equipment thing. The only reason Israel's actions are permitted in the face of overwhelming condemnation from virtually every relevant international organization/human rights group is because of our support.

There are valid points that come from /r conservative every so often, but this is another dumb one.

I'll be the first to condemn Hamas, to be clear a terrorist group through and through, but that doesn't excuse the collective punishment that is happening right now. As usual the death toll is overwhelmingly more catastrophic for the Palestinians, many of whom have nothing to do with Hamas firing rockets. We have to make it clear to Israel that we will no longer support these open air prisons. Maybe then we have a chance to actually move forward.

You'll condemn Hamas. You just won't support any actual action against them. Should Israel just stand by as they are attacked time and time again? No army goes to such great length to prevent loss of civilian life. Mistakes are of course made, but those mistake don't make the action any less just.

Well when your motto is "We Love Death More Than You Love Life" and put your rocket launchers and weapons caches in schools and civilian homes and tell the residents to become martyrs of course the body count is going to be higher. They are waging a PR war as well and the leftist Israel hating media is more than happy to play that angle. And vore9000 just bought their stunt, so I guess it's working pretty well.

Hamas hides among the civilian population. Hell Hamas is headquartered in the basement of a hospital. They want Israel to kill innocents for political points. Israel does everything to avoid civilian casualties, including warning calls to locations about to be bombed, firing warning shots at target(they knockers), has accepted multiple cease fires that Hamas has broken.

Hamas keeps firing into Israel. Israel has the right, if not the duty, to defend herself. Why the left thinks it's not ok is beyond me. We are probably lucky the don't attack Iran at this point.
