"what’s your damage" is ableist (literally implies that ur mentally or developmentally disabled/brain-damaged) soooo hmmm don’t say it perhaps
a great alternative is “what’s your problem” !
actually no that’s not an alternative at all it’s the same thing
it’s still implying that the subject of the response has a mental “problem” so its still like, not great
really you can’t find an alternative way of saying it bc it all means the same thing: the person the statement is directed at must have some kind of problem or issue, mental, physical, or otherwise, bc they are saying or doing something i don’t like or understand
it’s just a shitty concept and there isn’t a way to reword it that makes it nicer ok
