Dont protest. Its been tried for decades, it doesent work. To be honest i hope you will all pick up coding, stop comming on reddit, and make something useful. start a buisness, create a program, anything that utilizes crypto. Thats still what need to be done

You can say that to all altcoins, since every altcoin comes from Bitcoin. But then, there won't be innovation if there wasn't some amount of copying involved.

Well, to be fair, we have kind of forked it in a whole different direction.

I mean, of we were running around with an exact clone of the Bitcoin QT, calling ourselves CitCoin... yeah, I'd get it.

But we've gone down a somewhat different path and tried to make it our own.

That's same direction because dogecoin made zero substantial changes. The only things the DogeCoin project changed could have been changed by someone with zero knowledge of C++ or BitCoin in one day. Dogecoin.com shows what a troll the whole project is . "The internet currency", I wonder where that came from? "Shibetoshi Nakamoto", you with your project had someone as smart as Satoshi.

You might want to look up 'natural monopoly'. If you want to take the monopoly you have to be better. You can't take a monopoly by being exactly the same and there are no prizes for second place.

Well, with respect, I would disagree, of course.

Right off the bat the first and most notable change is that we're an open-ended coin while Bitcoin is Deflationary.

We're adding 5.25 Billion coins per year in the long haul.

That's a pretty notable -- and coin-changing -- difference.
