Anonymous asked: "SWJ" is a blanket strawman term people have made up so they can ignore that who they're really getting angry at is PoC, queer people, trans people, disabled people, women, and other marginalized groups simply speaking up about our lived experiences and the discrimination we face every day, and calling it out. It's a mask for bigotry. Keep doing what you do, Neil, we appreciate it.
Yeah. I’m all for people calling out overzealous straight white dudes like me when we misfire, but it seems like the term’s more popular with the “women are taking feminism too far [spits]” camp
