I'm conservative-ish. I saw this on /r/forwardsfromgrandma. We need articles and facts. Memes and pictures are funny but maybe we try and post speeches, debates, videos that don't personally attack politicians, and other things that show that we are smarter and more intellictual than the opposition.

We can't attack the opposition? How can we even talk about issues without attacking the opposition's position? You're just complaining without contributing anything positive.

I wish you weren't getting downvoted. I think about this every time I see a post from /r/conservative. I think we're better than this, and that we have the ability to put up a good counter against places like /r/politics. Sadly that hasn't been the case so far.
