Both sides believe they have a right to land/borders. The Israelis were stuck there when their country was created and have been in dispute for decades with neighbors. That is cintroversial because it was owned land. But both religions and nations see it as holy ground.

As far as i understand a peace treaty or something of the sort was signed a couple back by the goverments but the people didnt listen and continue to fight.

The people are the blame largely, but children should in no way, EVER be involved. Both sides torment children from both sides and end precious lives in the process, it isnt fair.

The way i see it, Israel was given land by other nations in the area if Palestine. Since then theres massive fighting going on and horrors of conflict, but in the name of God and holy areas and the territory. As controversial as it is, Israel is fighting in self defence and has an enemy. Palestine is also seeing it as defence because thats originally their land.

The world decided where Israel is and since then conflict arose.
