Those drumsticks operate on the same principle as Mjolnir: Dave Grohl can use them, but no mortal man can even lift them.

We are clearly thinking of different Mjolnrs, because thats only in the comics. And the whole deal about Vingthor being invincible while he holds it is an embellishment, too. Vingthor is the one who can wield Mjolnr, but others can pick it up and swing.

EDIT: Clearly I must have been drunk because any moron knows that the comic book version of Mjolnr is the real version, right? Typical hivemind.

The properties of Mjolnr do not make Thor invincible, nor do the properties make Thor the only one who can pick it up. Indeed, there was a tale where a giant stole Mjolnr, and Thor had to ask Loki to help him get it back

Youre right. What WAS mentioned was that Mjolnr cant be picked up by anyone but Thor. Which, along with the invincibility, is all for the comics. I dont even think I was being that impolite as I pointed that out. I typed as non confrontationally as I think I could have done in the situtation.

Yes, as youll note in my first comment, only Thor can wield it, but anyone can pick it up.

I referred to the comics? True, Yes I did, but only point out the flaws in the marvel character, as you could clearly see if you had read my comment. Not knowing norse mythology? Well, maybe not as well as I would like to.
