Thanks for posting. I wish I had something positive to say but sadly I am feeling much the same about the issue.

I proceeded to get very drunk and unfriend a lot of people on Facebook after seeing posts about it. Then I went and watched the Rachel Maddow clip on the other supreme court ruling about buffer zones, and let me just say that was a very bad idea. I don't suggest it unless you want to hate everything even more.

I don't even have any good coherent thoughts about the whole thing just yet other than I am very very upset.

I'm about to go spend a week with my normally lovely mother in law and I'm hoping she keeps her mouth shut because with buffer zones and now this I just can't. She's expressed views on denying bc and abortion coverage before where I've had to seriously walk away or lose my shit. Amusingly my husband is a rabid pro choice feminist, lol.

My husband is watching our son tonight so I can get shitty with this bottle of wine. I haven't felt this terrible about the direction of feminism in the US for a long time. I still want to just go somewhere and start screaming.

Are you fucking kidding me right now? Abortion is birth control for one fucking thing, for another IUDs and Plan B are not abortifacients, and finally they don't morally oppose shit given they invest in Chinese companies that not only produce abortifacients but utilize women workers at slave wages-- Chinese women who are routinely FORCED to abort pregnancies, the same China where they are facing a population crisis because female fetuses are routinely aborted more often than male. But yeah a company being allowed to discriminate against women employees that are paid minimum wage and not given paid maternity leave is totally not sexist at all, it's all about faith and not exploiting women for profit at all! Fuck off.
