Our Story
Nikki noticed she had a shopping problem when she was 16. She'd spend thousands of dollars every year on new clothes, yet rarely wore most of the stuff she owned. All of her girlfriends had the same problem, so she decided to fix it!
99dresses has one mission: to allow shopaholics to get their shopping 'fix' and refresh their closet in the easiest way possible by cleaning out their closet and getting new fashion in return.
The app launched in October 2013, and our community of amazing women has been growing ever since!

Nikki - Founder and Product Gal
Nikki is a 22-year-old Aussie girl with a vision for creating a cheaper way for women to consume fashion. She loves creating beautiful products that women love, and eating apple muffins.

Marcin - Head of Geekery
Marcin is our indispensible tech guy. He makes all of this magic happen behind the scenes. Furthermore, Marcin hopes that working in fashion will cure his Polish pattern on pattern impulses.

Chandra - Community Manager
Chandra is our social media and marketing maven. She loves 99dresses and wants to make sure users fall in love at first swap. Chandra enjoys long romantic walks to the fridge and is a sucker for anything hot pink.

Oguz's fave outfit is jeans and a tee, and his second fave outfit is jeans and a tee… good thing he's awesome at building mobile apps! Oguz hails from Turkey, but prefers his burgers to be beef.

Clare is in charge of making sure new users feel right at home right away. Questions, concerns, comments...she's more than happy to take them all. She's been swapping clothes since she could say, "I want what she has!" and is excited to be working at 99dresses, where it's totally acceptable for her to use this phrase on a daily basis.

Loni is your go-to girl for authenticating items and making sure that all girls are truthful when listing. She enjoys afternoon naps and Oreos dipped in milk. She also is a firm believer in all girls having the right to owning a fierce closet without breaking the bank!
