NOTE: my "godphone" is basically two (rusty) tin cans and a string so any "dialogue" from loki is practically guaranteed to be interpreted feelings/sensations (however! i have a pendulum now which makes it FAR easier to communicate with him)

also if you ask me something and i don't reply either here or privately within an hour, i'm most likely asleep or i have gone somewhere.

so i’m fairly certain that my mom is still under the impression that i’m an atheist (loki said via pendulum that she is, anyway) and i asked loki if i should tell her that i’ve been honoring him and he said yes.  however i have no idea how to go about doing that.  my mom is the kind of person who asks like three million questions about EVERYTHING and besides i’m not even sure how to bring the subject up. “hey we need bread, eggs, milk, i’ve been worshipping a trickster deity for the past seven and a half months, and sugar”

also loki says i shouldn’t mention the communication part, because she’ll inevitably want to know HOW we communicate, which means i’d have to tell her about the pendulum, and she’d want to see it and i KNOW she’d want to touch it and i know i shouldn’t let anyone else touch that

plus i’m not sure how to explain (again, without mentioning that we communicate) that yes, i actually, really believe that he exists, especially since as i mentioned she thinks i’m still an atheist
