Anonymous asked: Can you and your like not understand that for many people, remembering individual pronoun sets for every person is beyond difficult? It's ableist to force a change in language, then scream that everyone who legitimately has trouble using it is being oppressive. I have so much trouble just remembering names. This basically means that in order not to offend people, I can't communicate with them at all, because I WILL screw it up. I can't even follow it when someone else writes it out.

I have said time and time again that I don’t mind they/them. Emily does not mind they/them. We have never yelled at anyone for not using our pronouns. This is even in my FAQ. They/them is always okay in cases like this. We have never said otherwise.
