It is the Government interfering with private enterprise.

Are you saying trademark laws shouldn't exist since all of them, in some way, interfere with private enterprise?

Where did I say that, 25 day Sock Puppet?

I was asking you to clarify your comment. You didn't say it explicitly but you agreed with another commenter that the problem in this particular case is the government is interfering with private enterprise. All trademark laws do by design.

What does my length of time on Reddit have to do with anything?

I was asking you to clarify your comment.

Why do you care, Sock Puppet?

Why do i care? That's wholly irrelevant. Why are you avoiding the question and instead responding with personal attacks? I'm not a sock puppet, whatever that is.

That's wholly irrelevant.

Since you're asking me, I disagree.

30% of your account's comments have been in this thread, Sock Puppet.

I was curious because your comment was vague. I don't post often and have a new account. 3 posts in one thread isn't really out of line. Moreover, all of those posts are asking you to clarify your one point while you continuously try to go off topic and call me names. So, what's your position on trademark law?

So, what's your position on trademark law?

The Government shouldn't play politics with it, Sock Puppet.

Okay, I'm picking up what you're putting down. The problem isn't that the government is interfering with private enterprise as you originally stated directly. The actual problem is the government is playing politics with the laws it writes that allow it to interfere with private enterprise.

Please excuse me, sir, but I do have another question for you:

When I asked if you were implying that trademark laws should be eradicated you said

Where did I say that?

You then seemingly changed your reason for opposing this patent office decision from

It is the Government interfering with private enterprise.

to

The Government shouldn't play politics with it

Because of this, I'll assume you aren't entirely against the notion of the government protecting trademarks sought by private entities. In that case, who do you suppose gets to determine when the government is playing politics? Playing politics to one guy is justice to another, after all. Is it like Potter Stewart's definition of pornography, "I know it when I see it?"

There's no need for name calling, by the way. Name calling is for silly people and you clearly aren't a silly person.
