MetaLet's Get Started (self.poeslawinaction)

So, after seeing a fair number of obvious trolls on TiA (and some less than obvious ones), I figured this would probably be a good place to showcase some.

So what're some thoughts for what we can do here and rules? I'm in the air particularly one whether we should included meta-links (.np'ed, obviously). All input is welcome, though.

Yeah, this is a good point. And reddit has it's fair few people who it's difficult to tell if they're batshit insane or pulling the long con troll.

Meta-links should be fine for the start, until the place gathers its own content.

As for rules, I think TiA's is a good place to start; don't be a massive twat, don't feed the animals/touch the poop (which should include a ban on manufacturing your own poop for display), don't dox or post personally identifying information, don't forget your NSFW tags... any other ideas?

Always use np. on meta-links. And I can't really think of anything else, personally.

I wanted to make a snoo that looked sceptical but because his eyes are orange he just ends up looking stoned.

I like the idea, but he definitely dose look a little stoned. And there's no way to do a disbelieving cocked eyebrow when the snoo, y'know, doesn't have eyebrows.

When it's shrunk down to about the size it would be on the top it definitely looks less stoned. I'd say give it a shot for now, and we can always revise later.

Did it but in small it's also hard to tell that he looks sceptical. If I remove the question mark I can make him bigger without blowing up the header too much.

And check your folicle-normative privilege the snoo I made for SoSJW has eyebrows shitlord.

Hmm... I really like the question mark, though. Gaah, choices can be hard.

And that's a good point. Didn't realize that. Would eyebrows help distinguish skeptic from stoned?

Obvious satire already goes in /r/tumblrcirclejerk. Poe would suggest it's not obvious if it's satire or not. In which case I think this sub could be cool.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking for this sub. A place to post the things that are undeniably batshit, but where you can't tell if they're serious or not.
