  Followers, in case you don’t know, Autism Speaks is a terrible organization that treats autism as a malicious disease. You can find a detailed list of terrible things they have done here. (Trigger warning for eugenics, suicide baiting, ableism.) 

  Unfortunately the organization is popular among allistic (non-autistic) people, and now Google is partnering with them to create a genome database. This is extremely bad because in the past they have supported the idea of eliminating autism through what is basically eugenics. They care about profit, and not the lives or well-being of autistic people.
