Yeah, "they have tumblrs" is not really valid evidence of a "fat activist" movement. Even if it were, I doubt they're anywhere near as vile and inane as /u/svperstarr 's favorites, like /r/fatpeoplehate.

Actually, the most famous pro-fat blog - http://thisisthinprivilege.tumblr.com - is run by a group of fat-activists, at least one of whom is known for her IRL activism and lobbying for the fat agenda. There are books published on the subject too. Also, while you're more than welcome to your opinion that my subreddit is vile, you should know that the link at the top of this comment is blocked by Symantec (and possibly other services) because it is considered a "self-harm website". Because they openly promote ignoring doctors and they encourage disordered eating among many other unpleasant things.

Now you can make a more informed opinion.

There's at least one tumblr for everything. I can't think of anything that lends them more legitimacy than some goon who thinks the answer to a person trying to justify their obesity on teens' favorite blogging platform is worth waging some silly internet war over.

It's the most well-known. And I haven't even visited that site in MONTHS. It got boring. I've moved on to more entertaining pursuits.

I love how you think it's perfectly fine to insult me based on how you think I look and what little you actually know about me but as soon as I do it to someone else it's "pathetic" and an unwholesome preoccupation.

You're a fool, a hippocrite, a useless tapeworm of a man who's only solace in life is internet heroics.
