Good morning/afternoon to all.

I apologize for my late entry into an official stance, however I had dire needs to handle in real life before I could really get down into this.

My goal is to make this situation as transparent as possible, since it has already been plastered all over the sub. I will begin by saying this:

I am incredibly disappointed. I am disappointed for a few different reasons. I woke up this morning with PM's asking me to denounce Grundeswald. To deny support. I woke up to it hearing of this mess for the very first time. As in, no one from NEA bothered to inform me this was going on, not even our own SandFalls from Centauri, who is actually in both UIA AND NEA. How is it that I am asked to weigh in on something that I was blindsided with and with the expectation of my full immediate support? I am disappointed that after NEA and UIA had talks of working together, the ESC campaign and other talks did nothing for them to even try to keep me in the loop when concerning something of this magnitude.

Now let's talk about that magnitude. I have spent since 10am CST reading all these posts, looking at all these screenshots, talking to people in and out of Mumble, Skype, etc to get a well-rounded feel of what exactly is even happening. Again, not being told any of this puts me at a severe disadvantage, but I refuse to give a statement until I feel I am comfortably educated on both sides. Allow me to say this:

Grundeswald has a history of shit-stirring and edginess. However, allow me to reference what is relevant to this situation only in my coming words, and that is what involves Fellowship/NEA.

Fellowship has had a history of also shit-stirring. Again, I will keep references only relevant to what involves Grundeswald.

ALL THESE POSTS ARE BULLSHIT.

Let's be real. Fellowship and Grundeswald has been at each others throats since the Camp Beige incident when Fellowship saw the color Green on what they thought they exclusively owned against Grundeswald. Just like now, Fellowship posted vague links and weak evidence and treated it like solid gold. Obviously, that didn't work. It was only after a couple days of absolutely silly banter that there was finally an agreement between the two, but the tensions remained high anyway.

Now, we have this shit here, a big ol' collection of PM's and completely irrelevant 22 page screenshots of conversations. So let me weigh in on that:

Their association with codecub is obvious. He lives on the same street as Chris. However, they do not play on CIVCRAFT together. The evidence posted by Fellowship is weak and at this point they are grabbing anything they can get. Thankfully, kovio and others have done the explaining on a lot of it so I will post it here instead of restating it all:

On top of that, it wasn't Chris that snitched Fellowship recently. I know exactly who it was. No, I won't be releasing that info. They're not affiliated with us. The reason I know is because they PM'd me and told me it was them and thought it was hilarious Fellowship is trying to pin it on Chris, again with no proof.

Grundeswald may have a reputation for being shitheads, but they had nothing to do with the start of this NEA v. Grundeswald shit dating back to Camp Beige at least.

I will not denounce Grundeswald.

The shit ends here. It has to end here. I have had to play mediator between the two twice in just a couple months, both times my support ending up on the side of Grundeswald because every single time Grundeswald has solid proof, screenshots, snitch logs, etc where Fellowship just doesn't have any of the shit that actually matters: hard evidence. Any acts of aggression towards Grundeswald WILL be seen as aggression against the UIA and it will not be tolerated. If the NEA wishes to preserve their relationship with UIA, or even just me, they will drop this piddly shit of a case and continue with their daily lives.

Actions taken by UIA this day:

• Centauri is hereby suspended from UIA pending further investigation

• UIA backs Grundeswald against the planned attack from NEA

• UIA will retaliate if any member of NEA attacks Grundeswald

• UIA will also not tolerate Grundeswald attacking NEA if there is no further aggression from them

Fellowship, you fucked up on this one. I am willing to not let this ruin our relationship, but how you handle this going forward will determine that.
