That example is more relatable however, both are immediate incidents both of physical violence and one is literally on a higher scale. How on earth can you ever come close to quantify how many unknowing insemenations occur? How can you quantify the difference the decision made in a persons life, let alone financially? Rape statistically has been going down to my knowledge at least in my area and many developed areas (I could be wrong).

ALso rape has a similar problem, how can you quantify the damage to someone psyche from that abuse? That is a hell of an obstacle to tackle. This also contributes to the reporting problem as people tend not to want to confront it in court. Therefore my point is we dont know how much damage either truely does, or how prevalent either is, to say one is absolutely worse than the other is appealing to ourselves and not facts.
