Feels like someone wants a mention on the show or something. Suddenly an account saying he's got cancer? Hate to be that asshole, but are we really going to just believe some random guy who shows up out of the blue? I mean it's not required to have a long time post history, but to go from absolutely nothing to "I have cancer, love the Grumps btw" is just weird.

If it is true? Sorry to hear that, I can guarantee the Grump crew are glad to have helped you. Go spend the rest of your time enjoying yourself as much as possible as opposed to meaningless attention whoring on Reddit (which this literally is). If it's fake, go fuck yourself.

Okay, let me illustrate two scenarios for you:

Suppose you're right and this guy is just a troll. You will have called him out and he'd probably just leave. Congrats, you'd be the Game Grumps subreddit hero for today, whatever that means to you.

But, let's suppose your wrong and he really is in a hospital bed dying. You will have sat here and typed out a really shitty, hurtful comment to a dying man.

So, the absolute best case for you is that you will have called out a troll on Reddit. Worst case, you can hurt the feelings of someone living out their last moments. Idk, to me that's just not worth the risk, dude.

I'm not going to give you shit about this, you can be who you want. Faking your death for attention is deranged and I know some people still do that. But, despite this, I'd never risk hurting someone already suffering immensely.

Maybe he's lying, maybe he's a shitty person, that's always a possibility. And, if he is, he should feel ashamed. But, on the equally possible chance that he's not, damn right I'll give him my full support.

That's a fair way of putting it. I understand. I can't help but feel like I'm being duped again, but you are right, there is a risk on both ends. That's just down to me.

Hey, I'm actually very glad to hear you being open minded. Tbh, I was expecting a harsher reply haha. It's not wrong of you to be skeptical, I'm a very skeptical person myself. I guess the only thing I'm sort of in disagreement with is the context in which you're being skeptical, that's all.

If you wouldn't mind me asking, what do mean by "duped again"? Has someone lied to you about something similar to to this before?

Ah, okay. That makes sense. It's really a shame that some people are willing to do that when others are actually suffering out there. Hopefully, those people find better hobbies to fill their time.
