Seems PS4 easily beats XB1, though both keep 60fps easily, with almost a tiny occasional resolution drop on the PS4 (1720x1080 vs 980x1080 on the XB1), with PC performing as good as you can afford but mid level GPU's up shouldn't be taxed much at all execpt on the highest shadow/reflections.

You really think so? Aside from texturing being slightly blurrier on some character models they pretty much look the same to me. It's more like "Seems PS4 barely kinda-sorta beats XB1". Honestly they look pretty meh on both consoles. And the article pretty much agrees with me.

Outside of the more aggressive dynamic framebuffer on the Xbox One, there's little to separate it from the PS4 game. Shadow quality is slightly better on the PS4, but the artwork, effects and lighting are all basically identical. The PS4 holds up the closest in delivering a native 1080p experience at 60fps, so benefits from slightly more consistent image quality. As such, once again it's the PS4 release that is our preferred console choice. However, the differences between the two consoles are minor and Wolfenstein is really a worthwhile purchase no matter which one of these systems you own.

I find these comparison articles completely pointless.

The resolution drops almost by half (from 1920x1080 to 960x1080) and many people notice that. I clearly state both run very smoothly.

and from your very own link

"As such, once again it's the PS4 release that is our preferred console choice."

It's worthwhile on both systems because it runs 60 fps pretty flawlessly and neither one is ugly compared to the other.

As for the point of those articles, many people have multiple systems and knowing issues and performance can make buying the best version (for them) is very important.

EDIT: It's important to understand that one version can be better without the other version being really any worse.

And yet you click on them...

Yeah. I'm curious to see if they actually have noticeable differences. They usually don't.

And they usually devolve into console wars, which is fun to watch.
