What? About when do you think we "forgot?"

In 2002, it took the VA an average of 224 days to complete claims, as compared with 166 days in 1999.

It took the VA longer to respond to claims immediately after 9/11 and we went into war? Seems pretty reasonable..

And what about the guys that had to wait 21 months for a doctors appointment?

Exactly. This is nothing new. It's just politically convenient to highlight it now.

Nope. Obama castigated Bush for it and it's far worse.

Called "hypocrisy" you might want to look into it.

New York times columnist Paul Krugman called the VA a “huge success story” in 2011, saying “[I]t’s free from the perverse incentives created when doctors and hospitals profit from expensive tests and procedures, whether or not those procedures actually make medical sense.”

Krugman added, “Yes, this is ‘socialized medicine’ … But it works, and suggests what it will take to solve the troubles of US health care more broadly.”

They didn't forget to help illegal immigrants that don't pay taxes.

They don't forget to encourage welfare queens to stay in poverty.
They don't forget to give weapons to terrorists.
They don't forget to murder babies in the womb.
They don't forget to firebomb arab children.
They don't forget to break the law.
They don't forget to give money to corrupt insurance companies.
They don't forget to bribe the media.

John McCain is getting photos taken with the muslim terrorists in Syria offering them billions in aid while the VA hospital in his homestate (Arizona) is killing off US veterans on 2-3 year wait lists.

All of these scum, regardless of political shillery...serve the same master.

God knows this is all Bush's fault...

Isn't Memorial Day suppose to commemorate the military dead? We will never forget those who died in service of the country.

What exactly did we forget in this cartoon? Because if it is the veterans, I would suggest November 11 would be a more apt day to criticize how we forgot he vets.

How many more died while waiting for government healthcare at the VA? Last I saw the count was already in the mid 20s
