He doesn't have any new stuff, and just acting like he's actually doing something has worked pretty well for him so far.

Look out folks. No one is more mad about this than Obama. I just know he'll sniff out the corruption.

Well it helps that you have pretty much the entire apparatus of the media (and all the comedy shows) out there to deliver your propaganda 24/7, 365 to the entire nation.

Goebbels would have been, like, "SUPER jelly" at the brainwashing construct our media has designed and implemented.

The IRS scandal did not really hit hard with a majority of with every day Americans, as the Tea Party is conservative, but veterans do not all vote Republican. It is more difficult for the media to be unsympathetic, which John Hayward writes about saying that "the media is growing a bit weary of watching Obama blow the dust off his standard damage-control strategy.". Still, this pattern of behavior has worked consistently, leaving me somewhat unconvinced that the teflon is wearing away and that there will be an effort to fix the ills of bureaucracy.

This line is particularly well written:

As anticipated, Obama did not sack Shinseki – the first rule of Obama Scandal Control is that nobody gets fired, ever, because it becomes harder to dismiss the whole affair as a deflated political football after someone gets carried off the field in a stretcher.
