guys don’t really do the whole “give me a smile”-schtick in sweden, but they have another version that’s really common and just as annoying.

"take off your sunglasses so i can see your pretty eyes!"

… fuck you, no. cashiers, waiters, guys in general- how about you stop requesting girls to alter their appearance for you. or better yet, stop acting like you’re ever entitled to seeing someone eyes, hair or body, whether it’s covered by an oversized shirt, sunglasses or a niqab. it’s not a compliment, it’s intrusive.
