Wow. And that just goes to show how privileged you are. Don't you realize that there are people out there who can't afford to dye their hair? (And they can't buy box dyes unless they want to support the patriarchal standards of beauty.) Or maybe their hair simply CAN'T be dyed? Most POC can't dye their hair, especially African Americans. This is just another classic example of a white girl flaunting her privilege. I see you've even been tanning, too. What's next, brownfacing for cosplay?

Are you seriously trying to argue that POC can’t dye their hair? Have you ever even seen Nicki Minaj or Beyonce?

Also wow I went for a run outside yesterday. It was sunny. The melanocytes in my skin cells produced melanin pigment as a result of being exposed to natural UV rays. Perhaps you should try going outside sometime too.

But yeah, I’ve heard dyeing your hair blonde is a slippery slope. Next thing you know I’ll be chugging down Starbucks, learning to twerk, and grinding up on Robin Thicke. Oh, what a world we live in.
