The form is something for my game. It's a unique system and actually quite simple.
The game that I'm making is called "Kirby: Master Mode" so each power that I make is going to have a Master Mode, a much more powerful version of that ability with three extra powers, one being a final crash.

I was a little confused by the format of your form (I haven't played Kirby in a really <really> long time), mostly the "Master Mode" thing, because I never got much over half way on any of the Kirby games, so I might not be much use on that form. ._.

Lol, well, I told you most of it, but here goes...
I think it should be obtained from those floaty green/blue (I forget the colour) electricity enemies, because the power they gave originally didn't really go with them (I still like that power O.o). I'd say, the non-charged version simply stuns the enemy of a while (maybe zaps any enemy that touches it) and the charged version shoots a lightning bolt (short ranged) that kills one enemy, and then jumps to a second one.
I might also add an ability similar to the gravity gun from Half Life, that first pulls the enemy (and objects) towards you, and then shoots them away, killing the thrown enemy and any other enemy it hits. (search "gravity gun" for more details). I can't think of a charged attack for it, but those are my ideas (for now, I might think of more later).

Taser? so the enemy would only be stunned, but not take any damage? That sounds interesting. Maybe there could be a charge attack that would do damage, so you don't have to kill enemies with just your breath.

I'm glad that I at least have some friends when it comes to Kirby!
So here's the details:
I already have an almost fully functional Kirby.
I am going to put 12 brand new and original copy abilities, each with a powered-up mode.
One ability has the same name as an ability from Nightmare in Dreamland, but is totally different and way better and a heck of a lot more useful.
The game will incorporate brand new enemies along with some originals that don't give abilities, like Waddle-Dee and the like.
I plan to make the game available for downloads on sandbox.yoyogames.com if it ever is available for download.

A while ago, I came up with the perfect vote count scam (but never uploaded for obvious reasons) where if the vote count lands on an even number, I'll upload something, but if it lands on an odd number, I'll upload something else equally valuable. That way, if someone that wants the vote count to land on an odd number sees that, but it's on an even number, they'll probably vote. It does have its flaws, like someone who wants an even number and it's an even amount, they probably won't vote. They might vote because the next person who wants it even might see it and vote, so it might be deep like that. o.O

So, how do you think I should arrange the later rounds? Should I put text and frame separate, or should I keep the frame-by-frame text, but make it less "super-effective"?

Basically everything can u not said, and the fact that the "choosing system" isn't even accurate. What if most of the people who saw the upload wanted the first <whatever>, but it had already been voted beyond the point of that object? You see?
If this intervention never happened, this would probably continue to the point of him selecting contact lenses, of something ridiculous like that, being basically the same thing as the previous ones, but with different stuff,all praying on the Pg populations' "inability" to vote for "good uploads"
Meanwhile, your uploads are getting 500+ votes, while other people who have put *weeks* into their amazing uploads, only get 100-200 votes, encouraging them to just "give up" and make even more bad uploads!
When that day comes, 3 of 4 uploads will be vote scams like yours, and the rest will be scribbles of per-2 virus and laser on loop-on.
Please stop, this is NOT good for Pg, and just encourages the good uploadsers to quit, of join the vote-scam ways.

Hey, guys. I've been on PT testing it out and there's a LOT of cool stuff you can do on there! I'm making photon cannons with special attachments that do different things and if you wanted to, you could even make password calculators and working CPUs! Somebody here should try it. PG and PT are different, and I'm not saying that either is better than the other, but they both have their own really cool unique features! :D
On another note, does anybody have any thought as to who should win, either Vente or Viathin? I'm having trouble deciding.

As wonderful as it would be for vote scammers to be punished by the creators of the site, many attempts have been made in the past and none were successful. We sort of just have to live with the fact that there are people that frequently take advantage of PG's primarily infantile playerbase. Adding a PSA or warning to an upload of yours, as you plan, would be a fair idea to convince some players to not fall for other players' petty scams.

I'm not STS, but I can tell you what each joint does.
Joint-N is a normal joint,
Joint-Left makes it so that the joined dots can only rotate counter-clockwise when rotated,
Joint-Right does the same except clockwise,
Joint-Scale allows joints to stretch,
Joint-None makes it so that the joined dots kind of just sit there and stretch as opposed to movement. Sorta hard to explain, but if you try it out you'll see.
Joint-Blind makes a normal joint, except the joining pixels are invisible. If you want to make a different type of joint but still have the joint appear invisible, press J to cycle through the different displays.
Normal display shows the joint as it normally does, White makes the joints appear white, Black makes them appear dark grey, and Hide is pretty self-explanatory.

In form, just go find either a realistic defense system or an internet meme. Though you are a trustworthy person, you are only limited to activating Level 3 at max. (Only Σsigma can activate Level 4, while me and STS can activate all levels, since we started the defense commands. This includes the nuke, but only when we both agree to shoot it.)

Yeah, I was a little reluctant to make an account on here, but I had so much cool stuff (or at least, what I thought was cool), that I just had to share it.
In fact, if you've seen Cardinal (3rd upload), it was so simple and awesome, I was afraid someone would find out about it and upload it as *their* idea, so I made an account mainly to upload that before anyone else.

Whoa. Actually, I played PG for almost a year before I started uploading (I found it around the March 2011 era). Although, what's odd is that I never really payed attention to the uploads at the time, so I had never heard of the popular ones. Also, when I discovered the CBs, I was so OCD about the bad language (and yes, Omega, I remember you saying [on SRCB] that you knew someone who got hurt when looking or hearing a bad word, but I'm a little milder), that I didn't look at it again in a very long time.

I never said Pg1 was an angel, either. My point was, it has a lot less "terrible" uploads. That would probably pass as a relatively good upload on Pg2. I just meant the average upload quality is better here. ;)

There are many reasons, the main ones are, Pg2 uploads get significantly less votes than Pg1 uploads, and aren't really recorded in any user ranking. There's also a lot of really bad uploads on Pg2 ('cause of the less-strict "Please carefully created" message) which then push all the good ones to the back where no one can see 'em. All my get set codes are also on Pg1, and putting them on Pg2 would take FOREVER.

Just stick similar colours side by side and "blend"them. I.E. Salt, ice , fan, saltwater, water, (fish on Pg2) pump, and finally metal, is the scale of light to dark for blue. It's easy.

Well, remember it had a form of shading. 12Me21, a good idea that has helped tremendously for me in the past is keeping the thumbnail in mind. If it looks simple, no one will bother to look at it. If you have something mind-boggling, whether something very complex, or a large message readable from the thumbnail, it will stand out and people will take notice. Once you have the votes, since people are drawn to highly voted works, you should be okay.

Actually, that ha.ck only created three players, and was rendered impossible to do a long time ago, and all uploads that included three players were deleted.
One ha.ck that appears to still be possible, however, is the huge box glitch. Search GREENFLY (could be -GREENFLY-, not sure) as name, as I don't want to go through all the trouble of finding it.

The main thing I fixed was the explosion (which *was* pretty major, but still), and I only changed 6 dots.
Other things improved the artwork of certain things, along with other problems that shouldn't have affected the vote count, such as the nitro su.cking up through the pump.
Anyway, those 6 dots alone raised the vote count by 189.

No offense, but that's the last thing anyone here wants to see; more guns. All it is is acid, fan, and some block. Pg needs more quality uploads, not guns. You may be thinking "I got 500+ votes on that, STS, forget you," but most of those votes are given by 3rd graders who vote for anything that explodes or shoots acid. :/

There have been 7 ToIs before this one, just unmentioned. Whoever wins this one proceeds to the PG ToI League of Champions. After that will come the dramatic conclusion and possible lead into a post-series. :D

I didn't think of it at the time, but stabilizing that is actually a really good idea. It wouldn't take too long, either. It would be kind of weird having the first uploads just exploding, and the others stable, though.
I found that I actually got way more votes than I expected on my Zebes upload, and I think a lot of that was just because it was stable, which is why I'm now investing in stable artworks, as opposed to others. Making it interactive might be hard, though.

GAH! I know what your saying, but it *is* players battling, and the simplest level. Yes, it has a bunch of never-before-done stuff, but it is still a player battle, all-and-all.
Yours has a unique format, but the basics are just elemental player battling, like many other uploads.
If you really want feedback from me, personally, I don't really like that type of "fighting ladder" or really any of those battle match things (I don't know if the general Pg populace feels like I do, but this is just my opinion.)
Also, most of the people who actually *view* your uploads, are elementary kids with a free block, so having such long gaps between uploads might not be a good idea. I'd suggest making them, and saving the codes until they're all done, before uploading "all at once."
I "watch" all the Pg1 uploads, so no worries there ;)

Well, yeah, I've seen good nukes (mostly the ones with a city around them, that isn't just a bunch of ice and stone), good volcanoes (although, I think noobs are realizing that they can get basically the same amount of votes for ones without effort -.-), and even, the once-in-a-lifetime, *good* gun. (although, the screen isn't wide enough to have full effect...)

I'm not entirely sure what your talking about, but the uploads under the game screen (I think that's what you meant) now disappear after a week or so, instead of after 24 hours, due to the extremely small quantity of uploads we had a few months ago...
There's been a heavy lack of uploads for a while. It's still dispersed as such, but with few uploads a day, I don't think it matters anymore.

The only set of uploads more overused than guns are volcanoes. Volcanoes just erupt magma and nukes. (Though my favorite one was an Acid Volcano beneath a city.) And I sort of like shooting guns just to see Superball or whatever nuke targets. (I did such through a boredom project.)

Well, my players have special attacks unlike most player battle contestants, and there are three categories:
1: Equal Mass Attack
This type of attack uses natural abilities to call a shower or tossable item made from their element.
2: Special Attack
This type of attack is unique to the player, such as Aquata's Jet Swirl or Pythos's Burning Hands.
3: ∞ Attack
This attack requires a charge above the normal limit, but often has the power to change the battlefield for the rest of the competition or affect all entering enemies with a status condition.
Do you see how exciting my world is now?

My point is, I've seen a lot of elemental player battles. Yours has a unique way of organizing it, but it's still a player battle, nonetheless.

Well, a little surprising as well. Ehr is supposed to "drain" Aquata, who turned the tables. The fact that Pythos couldn't "melt" Aise was a little startling, but that battle was more like a fight between hot and cold, cold being the winner.

It wasn't the easiest thing I've ever made, but it still took a fair amount of effort, just less than I thought, cause it turned out to be so much smaller than I thought :P
The worst thing with pixel arts like that, is when you make a mistake, and you don't realize it until you're almost done... and you have to spend half an hour just trying to find what went wrong...
I only had to correct a few minor ones, in this upload.

Yeah, sadly, I think PERISH 22 will have to be redone... Again...
What should have happened in that upload, was the main character finds the survivors; AO and Siggy.
The story:
They find the new players.
They start searching for more players, and less so some mythical bunker.
The machines infect STS with the virus; STS vanishes while the players are sleeping.
STS goes after the biggest threat, and commands his "robot" army from within the machine base, and kills the machines, and much of his army in the process. (The players are unaware of this)
Meanwhile, the players wake up, with STS nowhere to be found, but think he just might have gone off searching for food and don't think much of it.
The players also notice the lack of any machine patrols, and make the best of it, to start scavenging.
The players find the "human bunker" and enter, not knowing STS has followed them, in the hopes of making more STS cyborgs.
The players start trying to free the people from the stasis chambers, but are ambushed by the devastated STS army.
O16 and LK see and hear the battle and run to investigate.
O16 and LK then somehow deliver the "final blow" to the STS army, saving the people.

Actually, I'm not sure that it is Scy's turn just yet.
I noticed several things wrong with HaW's PERISH. First of all, he added the new characters without introducing them first (that's the two "weird players" behind the main character). I personally would have made a separate episode just for finding them, then another episode of them finding the bunker. Also, I didn't know you could program a concrete wall... The bunker itself was very small and cramped, and I would have expected a lot more people and cryogenic chambers (the one in the picture looks like a water dispenser o.O). And wasn't the machines not supposed to be around, then they could go outside the bunker, or was that after STS destroys them?

What I meant by that rule, is that I didn't want to have the screen explode when start is presses, or the elements separate in whatever kind of pixel art.
It's okay to have some unstable stuff, like intended falling elements, or dissolving stuff. Basically, as long as it looks like what it was before start was pressed (minus text, and stuff), without player interference, it's okay. Just go through some of the old PERISHs to see what I mean.
The live player has to be used, though.
I'll probably update the rules, soon, as a lot has changed sense then.
I think the list went something like this:

I REALLY wish people would stop doing these kinds of things. The thing that really gets me is that they've been done thousands of times, the uploaders KNOW this, and the voters probably do, TOO!

Well, the comments that he generally erases are either something like just "..." or repeated things. If you were in his place, you wouldn't need to speak English to know to get rid of those.

I don't know the alt code, but I just typed in "greek alphabet" into Google. It's a greek L, the Lambda.
It's actually just Half Life, but the lambda is used a lot throughout the story, so I put that in.
Basically, an experiment goes wrong, and a bunch of aliens are teleported in to the base. You should look it up, it's a good game.

A fairly great upload again. If it were longer and having more obstacles, I'd like that a lot. But alas, it is short and particularly easy. Good course nonetheless.
@2chainzl: Machines are a hell of a lot older than 400 years, you're probably thinking of the Industrial Age, when steam power became a common power source for machines already in place. The ancient Greeks and Egyptians made extensive use of "horse-powered" machinery. (Think "giant hamster-wheel".)

Well, actually, all of their encounters with the machines, so far have either been by accident (like the first machine on the bridge and later, GLaDOS) or had to be done, like escaping from the moon and Mars.
I mean, I think they should be looking for the bunker, but just like a, 'lemme know if you see anything...' kind of thing, while more actively searching for food, survivors, ect.
I don't think they really want to have anything to do with the machines and would rather make the best of their absence, instead of searching for them O.o.

Eh, I'm to busy with other stuff to start a new game. Plus, I'm too lazy to want to download it and figure out everything.
@STS: As long as the comment boards are free, I'll continue haunting Dan-Ball as I'm too lazy to do much else. Otherwise, well, I've got an artblog I should probably update more often than I do, and I'm already pretty active on the DF forums.
In any case, I don't see why you can't play both for now. Disregarding my own criticism of their updating philosophy, PT has better physics due the interface recognizing pressure and temperature. (If you want molten rock, you have to make sure the rock stays above 700 C or it'll turn back to rock/metal/whatever you melted.) It also as several nuclear physics options that were apparently built into the first few incarnations of the game and thus are probably 100% PT development. (Nuclear physics as in: uranium, isotope-Z, deuterium, singularities, as wells as several particles like photons and electrons are all elements under their own tab of "elements" and they all interact fairly realistically given the 2-dimensions they're allowed.)
It's got less tools though, and the few available appear extremely obtuse for a game that has had 88 development versions since the beta testing. As far as I know, you can't zoom in on a part of the map and make tiny changes as easily, there doesn't appear to be a way to make straight lines without a steady hand and I've several other more technical complaints that aren't quite as glaring.
I'm right there with you, TK. Who needs them? Bikes are overrated; we have our feet.
The first time when I was 5, I rode for 3 minutes and promptly fell into a bench when my dad let go. (To show me that I could stay balanced by myself, lol.)
The second time when I was 7, after I forgot about all the pain, blood, etc. I managed to make a circuit around the park before I got too tired and had an asthma attack. I was hospitalized for just under 24 hours for observation.
The third time when I was nine, I don't remember how far I got but I hit the pavement so hard at such a weird angle that I completely dislocated my arm.
I don't even look at bikes anymore, as it's clear I'm under some sort of curse.

You also used two different computers/devices, because the second code was different than the first, but the third was the same as the first, as was the fourth with the second, so you obviously didn't delete your cookies each time.

My upload took about 5 minutes, but I spent like 50 minutes taking the shart.
I discovered an odd property of gas, that some of you may not know, a single dot of gas will float in a straight line upward, unless it touches another gas dot. if the single gas dot hits a single solid dot on it's way up, it'll touch it and not move at all. I found that interesting.
You could also make a "do what it says" upload like that, with glass in the form of the term "vote" but I really hate those type of things...

What I'm saying, is, it may be an interesting thing to make, but it's just SO unoriginal and low-detail, it's crazy. They basically do the same thing as Pg guns anyway; generate wind and occasionally shoot stuff.

TvT Anchors are cool, though. We've been using the exact same anchor design since they were invented by the aptly-named "Sea Peoples" in the Eastern Mediterranean. They're so perfect at what they do, that the only real changes they've gone through is in the scale of the anchor in relation to the ship- sort of like how sharks and crocodiles haven't evolved since they showed up. (450–420 ma 100.5–66 ma, respectively.) If sharks are cool for being perfect apex predators for so long, then anchors have to be cool too for being perfect ship-stoppers for so long.

SERIOUSLY!? Air pressure cannons are so awesome that I made a special one for my first upload. It was DECKED OUT with aerodynamic designs so that it would shoot more powerfully and stay in a straight flow for a WAY longer time than most. You should take a look at it:

I watched an LP, and Ninetails brought the player down to one character before Ninetails finally died, and his ultimate attack is Nine Fragments, an attack that uses all nine tails attacking the character with nine hits, each one dealing 999 damage.

Onetail: This one took a while, but I was finally able to get through before he healed 15000 LE, after that would be certain failure.
Twotails: I got through this one in ONE TRY. Unbelievable.
Threetails: This one took about 6 tries. The 1st one was easy, but it was a pain in the ass when both remaining Threetails kept using Life Gain 25 on the one I was attacking.
Fourtails: This one took FOREVER with his strength. I had no idea how I made it even with a WE Hazard.

I see what your saying, but my thoughts were, the machines created the "STSs" as a replacement for the big and bulky, immobile brains. At first, they made hundreds of prototypes, but none of them worked very well as "free thinking brains," so the machines gave up on the all-machine brains and tried to make a cyborg (STS), which succeeded, until the human side took over and became the STS we know and love today. (The machines gave up on the mobile brain program after that).
Note that the STS prototypes are still generally stronger than the normal machines, but can't be controlled by them and used as fighters (that's why they're just stuck in storage), however, STS, being one of them, can.
As for the bunker, I was saying it could be a bunker made by the humans (who foresaw the impending apocalypse) before the machines attacked.

STS will defeat the Mother Brain with you, then STS is overtaken by his machine half (because he's the only way for the machines to live on), forms a cyborg army (with the humans the machines were experimenting with!), Yle appears and tells you STS's weakness, and the rest was agreed upon, right?

Remember, STS, since all the brains were defeated, there would be no robots to be in STS's army. That's why I want cyborgs instead. They are superior to the machines, and want to eradicate all pure machines and humans.
You're also saying that there will be a bunker full of humans. Did you say why they're there? Because you once asked why the machines would keep hostages anyway. If the machines were experimenting to create cyborgs, that gives a reason for machines to keep captive humans alive.

What I'm trying to say is that STS short-circuits as he sees Yle, and when the mother brain is defeated, then all of the STS prototypes are destroyed, whereas STS is still alive from his human half. However, since his cyborg brain took over his human brain, STS is deactivated until Yle can recover him, in which he fails at all attempts.
Does that help it to be a little bit more understandable? I can be really confusing sometimes. :P

I feel that Yle should have created the Mother Brain, the first ever brain, to have an infinite amount of robotic helpers, but it eventually turned on the humans and created the Apocalypse. Now he tells the main character to destroy the Mother Brain to end the machines reign for good. The catch is that he is telling the main character to destroy his creation for a better world, something he spent an extreme amount of time on (wasn't this like on The Book of Eli [I only saw part of that movie...]?).

Here's my story:
After receiving the Y Taser, STS begins to read machines stating the name of Yle on his scouter. STS and the main player are very mystified about this, and eventually, STS begins to read "Pluto" on the machine scouter and thinks that they are linked somehow. Suddenly, a ship crash lands and STS and the main player investigate. A note on the ship basically says Present to You from Pluto, and inside is none other than Yle, STS's... Let's not get into that. Basically, Yle would be the only human that was not in stasis. Seeing Yle, STS's circuits short out and take over the human half of his mind, causing him to go haywire and adjust his own scouter to detect where humans are(since he's basically robominded, so he can do that.) , locates them and converts every last one into cyborgs with robominds. Yle is sad to say that the only way to stop this without killing STS is to deactivate the Mother Brain, therefore deactivating all cyborgs including STS. STS is not dead, but he can no longer function, sort of like a hibernation state. Yle fails at all attempts to reactivate him, and this may even lead into a PERISH sequel series. Good idea?

Why don't we use my original thought of the defective STS's (all robot) being controlled by the new-model STS, who then turns the humans into new model cyborgs, like STS.
So, instead of the "cyborgs running amok" we have the STS prototype machines controlled by STS running amok?

The only difference between my idea and yours is the reason for why there are trapped survivors. There won't be any more cyborgs or robots than yours. But that should happen. STS and the cyborgs use the humans to defeat the machines, then turn and betray them. Then the human army fights the cyborg army (and barely wins).
And why not cyborgs? Robots are simply machines and cyborgs are improvements on both the conscious human and the intelligent machine. That's what makes them better than the machines.
^That's what I think is a good contradiction.

Well, I don't know... The whole thing is, I was trying to avoid anymore cyborgs than we need. I was intending it to be a human bunker, that the machines didn't know about.
Here's what I'm saying,
The original machines made STS and a bunch of his prototypes.
The machines turn STS evil (like the others sleeping [not cyborgs, like STS, but robots])
STS awakens the STS army and destroys the machines.
STS army tries to kill the survivors. (But the army is almost completely destroyed from the machines, same with STS)
The survivors find the bunker filled with thousands of humans in stasis, and try to reanimate them.
STS follows them with his now-almost useless army.
Survivors fight the weakened STS and army remnants.
And defeat them, saving all of Earth.
^That's what I think would make a great series.
