When I was in 6th grade this really mean boy in my class asked me in a condescending voice “Do you think you’re cool?” and, knowing he would make fun of me if I said yes, I told him “No”. Now that I’m older, I regret saying that and I vow every day to never make myself feel small and unimportant in order to protect myself from the worthless opinions of insignificant men.
