On it's own, sure. It's not that bad.

By the time you add in the Shogun (considering 4k is a large part of this camera's selling points), you're looking at $4000. Throw in two or three lenses (maybe less, depending on how much you will use this camera) and you're probably heading towards $5k.

Don't get me wrong. It's quite sensational. Price is a bit much for me, all things considered.

One lens is $1500. Add another and you're at $2700.

Add another and you're at $3700. 3700 is closer to 5000 than 1000.
