Ok, as a gay individual this really pisses me off. I will say that the only thing I will somewhat agree with Bizzle on is that the persecution of African-americans and homosexual individuals are not the same. Both groups face different kind of struggles. That being said, I find it unjust and very offensive that Bizzle would use the persecution of this ancestors as a soap box to intimidate the gay community. No Bizzle I was not there for the hangings or other terrible things that happened to those individuals, but neither were you. While african americans still face discrimination in american, Homosexuals face just as much, if not more. Yes we can "play straight" but what the fuck does that mean? Thats like me asking you to "act white". Next, He opens up with calling gays >"Abusive, disobedient to their parents Ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable Slanderous, without self-control, brutal Not loving good, treacherous, reckless Swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God" Seriously? And you wonder why anyone would yell hate. Perhaps the problem is not us yelling hate, but rather the vernacular Dizzle chooses to address us. Lastly, we are not fighting for the right to screw who ever we want and prance around with a marriage certificate to say "Hey look at us". We just want the same god damn rights as anyone in this country is offered. We want to be recognized by this country, instead of being treated like the love we share isn't equal to any heterosexual couple. btw if marriage is so sacared, perhaps you should be chatting with the good fellows in las vegas or kim kardashian.

I was too afraid to see the video, but as I read what he said about what gay people are like I got more and more sick, I'm bisexual and it terrifies me to see that people like him not only still exist in this country, but openly deny the atrocities committed against the lgbt community and are supported and loved by a disturbingly large amount of Christians who want nothing else but to enforce their "morals" on other people.

Incredibly so. :)

Oh come now! Gays are disrespectful to parents! Just like those horrible left handers! Sinister fuckers!

(Seriously? The term Sinister is from the latin word for Left)

Even if being gay was a choice, no one's been able to tell me why being gay is a bad choice. Apart from "Ewww! Men! Why would you ever like men! Men are gross! Ewwww!!!".

Anyone who took Ochem would get the sinister joke

I've never understood why so many Christian musicians feel the need to mimic and ride on the coat tails of secular musicians. It's like they give zero fucks about being unique and original.

Actually I don't think that Macklemore is secular. Correct me if I'm wrong

A brief survey of the internet suggests that Macklemore is ... ambiguous? Confused?

My relationship with God is as strong as the time and energy I put into connecting with God. Today, I woke up, said some prayers, meditated, and jumped on Twitter. I'm all over the place. I find that when I put my spiritual life first, the rest of my life is easy. When I put my career first, that's when I have problems. At this current moment in time, I've been feeling pretty good.

I've never been a religious person. I've been a spiritual person since I was about 15, 16, when I was first introduced to Psilocybin [mushrooms]. That really opened me up to thinking about the universe in a different way, and coming to significant realizations about my connection to something greater than me. -Interview Magazine, no date

So, we have a claim of a close connection with god. praying, meditation, Twitter, spirituality, career. Then he's not religious, but still spiritual, and an appreciate of something greater than him.

I'm not sure. Very deist language except for the mentions of god... anyone else have any thoughts?

[–]derpnowinski 0 ポイント1 ポイント

Well he's not on a Christian record label, his music doesn't praise Jesus and he considers himself a spiritual but not religious person so I think it's fair to consider him more of a secular artist.

    And now I am sad.

Now what would be even funnier would be if Macklemore slapped this piece of shit with a huge copyright infringement lawsuit. Even if he didn't win this scumbag would be living in the streets after bankrupting trying to pay off the lawyer.

I hope so. There's an ad at the beginning of the YouTube video now plus there's a page where you can buy the MP3 for a suggested donation of $2 so somebody is making money off Mackelmore's intellectual property.

This guy also rips off Run DMC's logo.

    [–]mywifeletsmereddit 2 ポイント3 ポイント

This guy's voice is fucking annoying. Honestly I couldn't listen to him rap about sane shit.

    [–]AtheistTimeZarg 2 ポイント3 ポイント

Fuck everything about this fuckhead. Including his rap name.

Remember kids it's not enough to be gay but you also should hate yourself because of it

That's funny. As a pedophile, I found a lot of the lyrics to Same Love to be applicable to me. I know they weren't singing about me, but it was still an emotional and cathartic experience the first time I heard that song. In particular, the lyrics:

    And I can't change

    Even if I try

    Even if I wanted to

I am what I am. I can choose what I do, but not how I feel. Hating me for feelings I can't change accomplishes nothing. These are all issues that pedophiles shared in common with persecuted homosexuals of the past.
