I gotta admit, this is one argument by SJWs I sort of see and agree with. I don't think it's a good idea to put down someone based on what they listen to, and don't like when people call a band/artist/music taste/genre "shitty."

Like when I listen to EDM and people are like "this is shitty techno, it's not even good. Your music taste sucks." Like no.... that's your opinion. Why put someone down for what they like? And why call an artist or genre of music or song shitty?

If you have personal standards of what kind of music you like, then fine - but it is not your place to tell other people that their way of listening to music is wrong. Now, different people may choose to listen to music for different reasons - and this is something that we need to respect.
