The mods used to say that they deleted Hernandez posts because they had no impact on the NFL, but this can actually have an impact for the Pats cap space if he is convicted, and being indicted is a big step in the right direction

    I agree with this. If it is on the border of leave/delete for the mods, why not decide by what everyone seems to want? If nobody wanted to hear about it or talk about it, it would get downvoted.     It's fucking stupid that they keep deleting it. This double homicide happened before Hernandez signed his shiny new big deal. Because of this, the Patriots can file a grievance with the NFLPA and free up the salary cap hit that Herandez's contract took up. So this has huge salaray cap implications for the Patriots. Apparently that's not NFL related. Fuck us, right mods?

    it could be argued since he killed the 2 people in Boston before signing the contract that it wasn't done in good faith and that would void it. if it is voided then the pats have a very solid argument to get an increase in salary cap to compensate for the money they had to pay out even though aaron was in jail
