Speaking as someone who is pro-choice and sees a fetus as nothing but a bunch of cells, I don't find it sickening. I daresay it's only sickening to people who do view abortions as murder, and that's understandable, but from her perspective it's "I underwent a medical procedure", nothing more.

Just trying to add some perspective.

So if an unwanted fetus is nothing but a 'bunch of cells' why cant a murderer on death row simply be considered a larger 'bunch of cells' ?

Because of the "I don't want to admit that I'm wrong" mentality. You honestly believe that we can convince people who think that they're "morally superior" support that their actions create consequences?

I long ago learned that libs are incapable of thinking beyond their warm fuzzy moments.

When you refer to a fetus as a bunch of cells, are you thinking of one closer to its zygotic state or one that is otherwise healthy and a few weeks from viability? Does your bunch of cells mentality apply equally to the entire development spectrum? I'm just trying to understand your mindset and it's limits.

I think any line you draw will be arbitrary. Earliest limit I can argue for is when the neural network starts firing, but you can make an argument for all the way up to birth if the mother's life is in danger. I'm still trying to figure out exactly where I stand, but certainly things get complicated as the fetus develops.
