sorry if I’m off topic but I’m so sick of people characterizing violent crime as “musta been mental illness” it throws us mentally ill people under the bus by perpetuating the stereotype that we’re dangerous

Stop blaming the mentally ill / autistic community for the obvious pattern of violence against women. Autistic people have a hard time reading social cues. That doesn’t mean we MURDER people when we make a fucking social blunder. Same goes for depressed / schizophrenic / bipolar / etc individuals. We will NOT take the blame for rape culture and misogyny.
