(the phrase “cis is not a default” fits better than cis being a gender identity) There’s no excuse for making a very large majority of characters in TV shows “cis unless proved otherwise”. Cis is not a default!  There’s also agender, androgyny, bi-gender, genderqueer, non-binary, pangender, transgender, genderfluid, and more! It’s very, VERY easy to look up gender identities and educate yourself. This isn’t even including the wide range of pronouns there are, too, other than just “he” and “she” I used Big Mac because I have a huge headcanon that he’s a transman.
