Why not? Look at how many times in the past two days the same people (under various alts) have been making the same derogatory comments about the mods in /r/technology.

Because your true colors have been shown. What you do shouldn't be tolerated.

So I've read through what I believe is all of one side of this story, and when I tried to find your responses mostly what I found were links to that comment. Is there any chance you'll be responding to any of the rest of the complaints? Is this just someone making things up or misrepresenting the facts to cause drama or is there really an issue that goes deeper than "some bot deleted some things" and now it's fixed? And even if that is the case, why did it take so long to remove those responsible and fix the bot? Why did the admins have to get involved and how can we be sure it won't just end up the same way again?

I honestly don't care about the specifics of who did or said what to whom. I simply want a subreddit with technology related topics that isn't being censored for any reason other than to keep out unrelated crap and spam. Now, I understand that "unrelated crap" is subjective, and so long as there is transparency and a commitment to provide the sub that the users want, not the sub that the mods want, then that seems great. I like the idea of the reforms listed here, and hopefully they'll both a) solve the problem and b) be permanent (assuming they are working).

The problem is that based on your responses thus far, combined with the complete lack of response from /u/maxwellhill, I'm not sure how much confidence I have in that being the outcome. Are you interested at all in conveying your message in order to make people confident that the subreddit is really headed in the right direction (and disclosing fully what caused the problem in the first place) or not?

Note: I really don't want this to sound argumentative and it's hard to convey tone with text. Especially when asking questions, as they can seem like you've already decided the answer before you ask them. All of this is sincere, I assure you. I don't want to have a flame war or argue about them. Again, I just want drama, spam and crap free tech news and if the sub with 5 million people can get back on track that's a lot better than trying to guess which one of the "up and coming" ones to jump to.
