There’s another post about Aliagender floating around on askanonbinary somewhere giving the gist of what it means

here it is! It’s just their glossary, but it says:

“Alia or aliagender: A gender experience which is “other”, or stands apart from existing gender constructs”

it really suits me and i really like it tbh! for me, “other” means stuff like, well, i think of it like this:

im not a boy, i’m not a girl, but i don’t lack gender, and i’m not a mix of the genders. i think aliagender was coined to reduce the amount of white people calling themselves “third-gender” which is ridiculously appropriative and it’d be really racist of me to call myself (a white person) third-gender, which is why I don’t; so i like to think of aliagender as the fourth gender or maybe the fifth, possibly the 78576482th.

if this is some kindaaaaa thing like “ur gender’s made up lmao” ? Shut up ? 

all gender is made up if you think about it. more and more studies show that intersex people are way more common than people originally thought, and there have been nonbinary folk since forever - just in … basically every culture but white culture, which is kinda dull if u think about it, it’s just? Why ?  W hy would you like ? Do something like ? that? is there ? some kind of POINT to putting people in rigid sex/gender binaries which only suppress creativity and self-expression??????????????????????? Really answer that?????????????? That’s not even a sarcastic question i’m really interested to hear truscum’s train of thought with these things because i literally do not understand it at all
