Hydra was made to be a transparent duplicate of parts of the Third Reich, with roots in the Third Reich, as one of various sources that allowed Marvel to continue to write about the Third Reich long after it stopped being prime American propaganda content, and started being remembered with the weight of what happened during WWII. 

If I shouldn’t need to explain to people why not to say “Heil Hitler,” then I shouldn’t need to explain to them why not to say “Hail Hydra.” I don’t care how cool you thought the Captain America movies were, or if you think its a cute and edgy fandom initiation code. It’s not funny, it’s not a joke, and if you have paid enough attention to be in the fandom that its relevant, you will know that there is no room for ambiguity. Hydra is a Nazi group.
