Bye bye blondie

Well for those of you on Facebook you already know that I changed my hair back to brown...

The high maintenance bleaching was becoming a bit much. I never realized how quickly my hair grew. Seriously. After one week of blonde hair I would have roots. There is nothing worse than black roots sprouting out of bleach blonde hair. Well it didn't work for ME anyway....

So I made sure that I was okay with leaving my blonde persona behind and then I embraced the red....

When you bleach color from your hair you have to put the red pigment back in since when you bleach you are essentially removing the red pigment. So I had to go for more of an auburn brown.

My hair is a little darker now than shown in this photo but you get the idea....

You may also notice the sparkly thing on my nose...that would be my new nose ring. Before you ask, NO I am not going through a mid-life crisis. I am simply sick of admiring something...wondering what it would be like and then never trying it. I've always wanted a nose ring but either for work purposes or whatever...I never tried it. So since I am not working {yet} I figured it's now or never.

I asked the lady who pierced it if she thought I was too old to get it done? She said a 62 year old woman had come in that morning and got it done. So...unless she was bs'ing me so I wouldn't back out....I was good to go. Whatever...I did it...I like it...no apologies...
