NEW YORK – For those of you who have been under a rock for the last three weeks, the movie “Noah” has been making waves at the box office, reviving interest in Bible-themed films that can obviously make money.
At the Noah premiere, which I was able to attend when the movie debuted at the beginning of the month, I was able to meet 50 Cent, Russell Crowe, Stephen Baldwin and his two gorgeous daughters, Alaia and Hailey, along with Jennifer Connolly, and Emma Watson.
The movie is about 2 1/2 hours long, which quite frankly seemed longer since you know the ending, but it’s pretty good. (Need to watch the trailer). It did show the dark side of what Noah had to do. Just think about it — everyone wanted on that boat and Noah had to do whatever he had to do to keep his family safe.
The after party was at the Central Park boathouse and they packed up 10 tour buses to get everyone over there.
Jennifer Connolly sans any bodyfat whatsoever was shivering on the freezing cold carpet.
Russell Crowe, who isn’t known for his social graces, was a surprisingly pleasant and social butterfly both on the carpet and at the after-party, even snapping selfies with me, Stephen, and rapper 50 Cent, while Jennifer Connolly looked on. At the party, Emma Watson sat drinking surrounded by friends and a formidable blonde haired woman guarding her.
Emma didn’t chat with guests like Russell and the rest of the cast did, and she was a bit rude and snotty to me and other folks. Her guard was equally as unpleasant. I later learned this tough blonde was a hired bodyguard to protect her from stalkers. Emma was also the last celeb to leave the party, probably waiting for the bar to close.
Doesn’t she know the rule about being the last to leave?
The unicorns had to learn the hard way, lol.
Dear Noah,
I could swear you said the boat was leaving at 5.
Sincerely,
The Unicorns. ::
