In July and August of 2011 four women set off in their
kayaks from Hatties Cove in Pukaskaw National Park
on the eastern shore of Lake Superior. Their goal was
to paddle 110 miles south to WaWa, Ontario. The wilderness of Pukaskwa National Park is most easily accessed by kayak butjourneying on Lake Superior
has its own set of challenges!
