Tools - SF4 explorer - EMGswap v3 - EMMEdit - photoshop Files we will be editing - XXX_0X_01.obj.emm - XXX_0X.obj.emb - XXX_0X_02.obj.emm - XXX_0X.obj.emo files for swapping - XXX_0X.obj.emb - XXX_0X.obj.emo lets begin....... so first create a folder anywere named EMGswap or whatever and put emg swap in it and also put your .emo files in it then open the .emo file of the char your modding, in my case hwo then choose the emg you want to replace for me its 4 now swap emgs select an emg for swap press go then open it up in sf4 explorer to see if it worked and anything thats in the way just toggle it off keep that open now lets open XXX_0X_01.obj.emm in EMMEdit so before i swaped the material name was jeans and kawa but now in SF4 explorer it says pants and pants2 so what i do is rename the jeans mesh to pants and rename the kawa mesh to pants2 now choose your colors do the same wth XXX_0X_02.obj.emm save your EMM and open both .emb files in sf4 explorer then extract the first dds for both .emb files now open the dds files you just extracted in photoshop and select the part of the texture you swaped so im selecting kazuyas pants than drag it to the other dds and put it in the exact same spot save it as DXT5 and then inject it back in then save that and rename your new.emo to XXX_0X.obj.emo and it should work Edited by MilkyMushrooms, Aug 25 2012, 11:23 AM.
