From the article linked:
While the first movie was a decently well done film, this sequel really brought out some very striking themes that will resonate with many conservatives and libertarians (don’t worry, I won’t put in any spoilers, just a few plot lines).
For one, S.H.I.E.L.D. had in production 3 major airships for national security. These ships could take out threats before they even manifested, but Captain America had some major concerns about this.
Ah, yes, because one thing conservatives had a problem with are drone strikes. Yeah, militarizing and enforcing our interests with high tech weaponry is something that conservatives balk at. Yeah, they totally never supported going into countries and killing terrorists.
Of course, I'm not counting the /r/conservative third law: for each and every Obama position there's an equal and opposite /r/conservative position, but you get the picture.
In WWII, he acknowledged that they made mistakes and compromised on things in Europe, but they were fighting for freedom. Having such equipment for the purpose of security was not something worth risking for him.
Wow. It's not like the president before Obama was all "Rah Rah National security!" or anything. Oh, wait.
It's not like Peter King of New York has been spying on and harassing Muslim student groups. Oh, wait.
I'm sorry if I'm ragging on conservatives too much here (I promised /u/Pocahontas_Spaceman I wouldn't), but on what plant do you have to live on to think Captain America: The Winter Soldier is putting forward a conservative worldview?
there doesn't seem to be anything here
