Lots of good points in the article, though I still think the hashtag went off halfcocked and sorta devolved from there, though that's hardly all on Park. Park (or anyone else) doesn't deserve harassment, bullying or threats, but I think some detractors had merit to their arguments, especially after the "divisive Asian" comment and some other hypocrisy. Granted, I don't know how stressed she was when all that happened, but it's not like that excuse saves others all too often.

But yeah, I think she got more hate for her mistakes than another might have received for 1) being a PoC and 2) being a woman. People seemed pretty quick to chuck her out the window instead of being like, "Hang on, we got some attention and that's cool, but what's the message here?"
