Little Inferno

Tomorrow Corporation

Cloaked under its simple gameplay, Little Inferno is a thoughtful and clever satire on casual games. Channel your inner pyromaniac in this charming and witty sandbox puzzler. Park yourself in front of your new Little Inferno Entertainment Fireplace as you burn your worldly possessions to stay warm. Don’t worry if you run out though, as burning things will yield coins, which can be used to purchase and unlock catalogs of more things to burn. Light up screaming Marshmallows or an explosive Blowfish, or burn things together to create new combinations and unlock further ignitables. Little Inferno is the 2013 Independent Games Festival winner in the Technical Excellence category. It was also a finalist for the Seumas McNally Grand Prize and the Nuovo Award.

Note: The Android version of this game is not included.

Super Hexagon

Terry Cavanagh

Super Hexagon is a minimal action game by Terry Cavanagh, with music by Chipzel. Important facts about Hexagons: Hexagons are first order permutohedrons. The vertices of a hexagon can be formed by permuting the coordinates of the vector (1, 2, 3).The north pole of the planet Saturn has a hexagonal storm butt pattern with 8,600 mile long sides, larger than the diameter of Earth. Though hexagon may appear to be a difficult word to rhyme, there are actually dozens of words that rhyme with it. For example: Autobahn, decagon, decathlon, electron, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, leprechaun and marathon.

Natural Selection 2

Unknown Worlds Entertainment

Choose to play as a bootstrapped Marine or a beastly alien in this action-packed battle for ultimate survival. Natural Selection 2 flawlessly combines a multiplayer first-person shooter with real-time strategy elements for a game that is addictive, immersive and exciting! Its tightly designed shooting mechanics combined with intricate maps create a competitive challenge for all players.

Critter Crunch

CAPY

Critter Crunch is an award-winning, arcade-style puzzle game, starring the loveable Biggs. Using his long, sticky tongue to grab critters from vines above, he feeds them to each other until they burst, dropping tasty jewels for him to gobble up. Using the game's 'Food Chain' mechanic, players will eat their way through a smorgasbord of levels and gorge on a feast of modes, including Co-op and Versus multiplayer.

PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate

Double Eleven

PixelJunk™ Monsters Ultimate invites you to take on the role of Tikiman and protect his offspring from monsters that attack by land and air.

By placing weapon towers at strategic points around the landscape, you can destroy the invaders and save the little ones. Collect treasure along the way to build up your arsenal and pay for new towers – countless waves of monsters are out to get the Tiki babies, so you need to be prepared to fight hard!

Test your tower defense skills and venture onto the mysterious Tum Tum Island, which randomly generates levels, throwing unknown waves of monsters at you from the start. This gives you near-infinite replayability and the added element of surprise. Unlockable content is also included: concept art, music videos, soundtracks and more!

Note: This is the ultimate version of PixelJunk Monsters, including all content from previous versions of the game.

Hotline Miami

Dennaton Games

Think quick and strategically in Hotline Miami, a 2-D top-down action game that rewards caution, tactics and trial and error. You'll travel back to the 1980s with the game's highly stylized neon graphics and 16-bit pixel art. With instant death and no checkpoints, you'll need to start from the beginning every time, but every runthrough provides a little bit more insight. Gore, rapid action and sick music all come together in a highly stylized game that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
