Ok, I've never cosplayed before, and I hear it's a lot of fun.
So I was thinking:
Should I cosplay as Kiryl?
I found a Canadian website that sells the outfit and hat(at $179 and free custom fitting), but not his sword and sheath.

What do you guys (and girls) think?
Should I cosplay as Kiryl, and post on DeviantART/Here

Sounds cool. I'm not much into cosplay but some people pull it off well.

Heck, when my white guy fro comes back in, I decide to dress up like a weirdo and I suddenly become anorexic I'd be a dead ringer for the Swords hero (we both have either mad or blank expressions most of the time).

Sad part is, I can relate to Kiryl in the sense that the girls I've really liked never notice it, even when I make it fairly obvious.

But this isn't about my life.
I'm leaning toward doing the cosplay.

Too bad no one else I know even know what Dragon Quest is, so no additional DQ4 characters...

Kiryl is one of the few Dragon Quest characters I've ever given consideration to cosplaying.

Dang Hawk, I looked around for you, no one seems to have the sword sheath. Probably for the best, I heard some cops jumped a guy one halloween because his costume had a weapon that apparently looked too real.

Good call there, because I don't think cops would buy the "I'm just a priest from Zamoksva" excuse.
Thanks for the effort though, because it's going to take a while to convince my dad to buy the outfit and hat.

Props of that nature are common at places where cosplay is expected. It's unlikely that the police would intervene.

im sure you'd have to say it in a accent (presuming he has a accent, being the game has no voice acting)
but yeah it sounds interesting and i think you should (how about you dress up as borya next XD(sorry))

Zamoksva is Russian, so Kiryl, Alena, and Borya have russian accents.
I'd imagine it would be more like "I am priest from faraway kingdom of Zamoksva"

Never cosplayed in my whole live...well,I once looked like Lucas from Mother 3,but I didn't even notice it and nobody gives a damn about Mother 3 anyway.But sure,go for it!

Nice Kiryl outfit. Looks spot on.

I have much less hate of male cosplayers since I'm female. My hate is reserved only for female cosplayers cosplaying as any of my "favorite characters"* (from any series I know of or have learned about).

*Cosplaying characters I don't really like or care about will not anger me.
