Cheerio Meredith (July 12, 1890 - December 25, 1964) played Emma Watson on The Andy Griffith Show. Her film appearances include I'll Cry Tomorrow, Gidget, The Legend of Tom Dooley, The Three Stooges in Orbit, The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm and Sex and the Single Girl.
