One of the few surviving Korean so-called "Comfort Women"

Kim Bok-Dong was only 15 when she was forced into sexual slavery for Imperial Japanese soldiers before and during World War II. Now an activist seeking historical responsibility and an apology from Japan for what she and the approximately 200,000 so-called “Comfort Women” endured, she is traveling from Korea to Los Angeles especially to share her struggle for survival and justice.
Light refreshments will be served immediately following the program.
