Well we might have nipped SOPA and PIPA in the buns for now (remain vigilante, they may resurface) but ACTA is proving to be just as scary..
First off, I am not a lawyer or a student of the law. I have done several hours of research and these are the conclusions I've reached, they may not be 100% accurate.

Why I don't trade modelsIf you want to trade with me for any models I have I'm just going to warn you ahead of time.
My answer is always and forever will be NO!!!
The only Models I will trade:
1. Models that have no rules against it. (and yes I do check this so don't even try to trick me)
2. Models that I own
or
3. Models that the actual owner of the model ask me to trade with them for one of the other 2 options
Reasons I will not trade anything that does not fit one of those 3 options:
1. It's disrespectful to the modelers
2. My models take 3 months on average to finish. How long do you think the non-beginner modeler's models must take?
3. A modeler gets to decide what they do with their models once they are finished making them. If they decide to have their models cost money, that is their choice and it's not our place to say they can't do so with their creation.
4. I have never seen or heard that a modeler choosing how you get their creation is against any rules.

Open apology concerning the Windows 100% scam.

On behalf of the founder and every teacher we apologize for the misunderstanding caused by xDeliciousDemise a former teacher who has been kicked from the group by the founder because of her illegal activity.

Please let us explain, xDeliciousDemise nor her "friend" have the rights to sell the Windows 100% models as proven by kuroku2 through her efforts of both interrogating the seller on Ebay (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and contacting Kakomiki to ask if they where notified of this activity.Also after re-reading the journals and comments the "friend" seams to be a lie and the scam was just so xDeliciousDemise could profit from innocent people who just want to have the Windows 100% models legally.

¤The seller claims they have proof but also claim that Ebay wont let them change it in how-ever the person can write anythign in the other slots.
¤The seller claiming to have permission but none of the modelers agreeing.

There is a big problem. Someone is selling downloads of Win100 Kurisu using Ebay. I can't stop them. Something must be done. In 2 more days, the auction for the model will be over. If you can't report, can you please forward this email to the publishers of Windows 100%?

Tell them that if something is not done, this person will encourage scams of selling the models online without selling the magazine with the CD. This person said she has your permission and permission of Shinyusha inc., but I know it is not true.

¤xDeliciousDemise claims her "friend" has gotten permission from the magazine and modelers to slell their work.

ps: The journals are evidence but they will be changed with a warning that they are false.

you know i find it hilarious that they are even allowed to sell mmd models because by doing so they are violating the section of mmd user license stating that it is not to be used for commercial gain secondly they are not authorized by microsoft inc to use the copyrighted name of "Windows" in their title they are not autorized by the developers of mmd metaseqioa or any of the companys whos textures they have riped or created models that are simular or alike to such as idolmaster kindom hearts seeu yamaha crypton bandi square enix alice soft, to use sell or distribute such material
they own the copyright to their publications but not to most if not all of the components of the models they are selling in the publication i already raised microsofts intrest when i asked about what uses are allowed when it comes to the term windows which is a registerd trademark of microsoft inc

People on eBay sell stuff all the time, so what makes this illegal? She bought it, so she's selling it.

It's like if you buy a doll, and when you don't want it anymore, you decide to sell it on eBay. The manufacturers of the doll don't put "No putting in other clothes or selling allowed!" on the back of the box, do they? So why is this different?

ok it's illegal because since it's a model she can sell it again and again when you buy a model, you're not really buying a model but a COPY OF IT.

So in essence it's taking someone picture on DA and selling it. All you do is save it, then sell sell sell copies of it. Which is wrong.

if she was sell just the magazine and the CD then it's Ok cause she's only selling it once. because once she sells it's out of her hands. (like old clothes or like the doll you mentioned)

THIS IS A MASS PRODUCTION OF SELLING so basically she's COULD BE SELLING THOUSAND, NO MILLION OF MODELS, With Absoltely no effort on her part but the copy/paste option on her comp. (three freaking clicks * sarcasm* whoo! so much effort) do you see how harmful and wrong it is?
